Dream Sea by Dan Hobday

Dream Sea pares the seascape back to its most elemental — a horizon implied rather than drawn, bands of colour shifting from deep teal to pale sky, the whole image hovering in an in-between space where water and air become indistinguishable. Dan Hobday's minimalist touch turns what could be a familiar subject into something meditative and open-ended. The composition breathes; there is generous negative space that lets the eye rest and the mind wander. It is coastal atmosphere rendered in almost abstract terms.

Produced as a canvas print in our Berlin studio, the cotton canvas surface adds a subtle texture that deepens the layered tones and gives the work a physical presence. Archival pigment inks ensure lasting colour fidelity. Floating frames in oak, black, or walnut available to complement the palette.
